Are You Ready to Become an RTI Training Center ?

Instructions for Completing the RTI Training Center Eligibility Self-Assessment

Purpose:
This self-assessment is designed to help potential training centers determine their eligibility to become certified under the standards of Rescue Training International (RTI).

Who Should Complete This Assessment:
This assessment should be completed by the owner or manager of the facility seeking certification as an RTI training center.

How to Complete the Assessment:

  1. Read Each Question Carefully:
Ensure you understand what each question is asking. If you have any doubts about the terms or requirements, refer to the RTI official guidelines or contact RTI directly for clarification.

  2. Answer Honestly:
Respond to each question with either "Yes" or "No" based on your current capabilities and practices. Your answers should reflect the actual conditions and policies of your training facility.

  3. Record Your Answers:
Use a sheet of paper, a digital document, or any other method you prefer to note down your answers for each question.

  4. Calculate Your Score:
Assign 1 point for each "Yes" answer and 0 points for each "No" answer. Sum all points to get your total score.

  5. Refer to the Scoring Section:
After completing the questions and tallying your score, refer to the scoring section of the assessment to understand your potential eligibility.

Scoring Guide:

  • 8-10 Points: Indicates a strong alignment with RTI's requirements, suggesting eligibility to become a training center.
  • Below 8 Points: Suggests there are areas that need improvement or compliance before applying for certification.

Next Steps:

  • Review and Plan: If your score is below 8, review which areas need improvement. Develop a plan to address these issues before applying for RTI certification.
  • Documentation: Prepare to provide documentation or evidence of compliance when requested by RTI during the official certification process.
  • Contact RTI: If you score 8 or above and are ready to proceed, or if you need further guidance, contact RTI to discuss the next steps in the certification process.

By following these instructions, you will gain a clear understanding of your readiness to meet the standards set by Rescue Training International for training centers.
